A little about Whimzee:
Whimzee came into our care after being found as a stray. When he arrived, he was very matted and had some sore skin, but after a much needed pamper with the groomer, he is feeling much more comfortable and looking very handsome!
Whimzee has shown himself to be a lovely, sweet natured and calm little dog. He has settled well into kennel life and really enjoys meeting everyone here, especially when it involves a cuddle!
Whimzee loves nothing more than a nice, comfy bed to curl up in. He enjoys taking his time on walks, having a good sniff and exploring at his own pace. He is also partial to a tasty treat and will happily sit for one!
We feel Whimzee would be happiest in a calm and quiet home where he can enjoy the finer things in life, a comfy sofa, plenty of love and somewhere cosy to curl up and relax.
Whimzee is currently on Loxicom and is having kennel rest due to mobility issues. His new family will need to be aware that he may require further diagnostic tests and investigations, as well as potentially lifelong management for this. He is also currently having lubricating eye drops.
Does Whimzee like other dogs?
Yes! Whimzee has been fine with the dogs he has met while in our care. However, we feel he would be happiest living with a calm, older dog or as the only dog in the home, where he can enjoy a peaceful environment.
Children in the home
Any children in the home would need to be aged 6 or over.
