A bit about Sykes: Cute little sykes is an older gentleman, he is looking for his retirement home. Despite his age he is still full of life and has a lot an energy. He can be a little unsure at first, but it doesn’t take him long to come around.
Sykes doesn’t seem to be fussed on playing with toys. He is more interested in getting attention and lots of cuddles. Sykes likes to smile at everyone her meets!
He is looking for a relaxing life, but a home where he can still go on lots of adventures! He may be an older gentleman, but he still has lots of life left in him. He can be a little vocal so his knew owners would need to be willing to work with him.
Sykes has been on 2 home trials now, unfortunately they didn’t work out. Sykes has separation anxiety and when his owners leave, he does bark. We are unsure of Sykes history before the kennels so unsure if he has been left for long periods which has made him anxious. He is looking for a loving home with someone who has the time for him.
Does he like other dogs: He hasn’t really been bothered with the dogs he has met. We think if a dog was too much for him, he would tell them off. For this reason, he can live with a calmer dog that respects his space. On his home trials it was reported he was barking at other dogs.
Children and other animals in the home: any children in the home would need to be 10+ We are unsure if he has met any cats.
