A bit about Jewel: Jewel is a very sweet little girl, she can be quite timid when she first meets you, but when she gets to know you, she is very cuddly and loving. She loves human affection. She isn’t too sure about toys and only likes the finest treats. She enjoys curling up on your lap or a comfy bed for a cuddle.
When Jewel came into us her coat was quite overgrown and matted in places, she has now had a nice groom and is feeling much better.
We think Jewel would benefit from a calm quite home, where her owners have time for the training and attention she needs as we don’t think she has had a lot of socialisation or training.
Jewel has been to the vets for health check and vaccinations. When she was at the vets they discovered she has a luxating patella. They said it doesn’t seem to be causing her any pain, but it is something her new owners would need to keep an eye on.
Does she like other dogs: She is very reserved around other dogs, we don’t think she has met many other dogs, she could be homed with an older calm dog.
Children in the home: Any children in the home would need to be 10+
